How to measure curtains

Width: When calculating the width, measure the track, not the window. The track may extend beyond the window each side to allow the curtains to be pulled right back. If there is no track, measure outside frame to frame.

Length (Drop): Track: Measure from top of the track to the floor or desired lengths on half windows

Woodpole: Measure from bottom of eye in curtain ring to desired lengths

How to measure blinds

Insidefitting recess: Width: SMeasure full width of opening at top (do not measure along sill) - most windows are narrower at the top than the bottom.

Drop: Measure underside top of recess to sill.

Architrave Fitting: Width: Measure from outside edge to outside edge of the architrave.

Drop: Measure from top of the architrave to sill.
